Ooms International Holdings Bv was established in the Netherlands.
Entered the Indian market with the establishment of Ooms Polymer Modified Bitumen Pvt Ltd. and Ooms Avenhorn Holding India Pvt Ltd., introducing cutting edge road technology.
Set up the first production plant in Mumbai following extensive R&D to cater to India's infrastructure needs.
Expanded operations to South India with a Chennai plant, addressing the growing demand for airport runways, defence airfields and highways.
Established the Kosi plant and R&D Lab to enhance research capabilities and support projects in the Northern and Western regions.
Launched the Jabalpur plant to contribute to highway expansion and defence airfield development.
Mr. Rajeev Kathal acquired the India and SAARC operations, making Ooms India a wholly owned Indian entity.
Developed newer and greener products like Bitumen Emulsion and Cold Mix Binder through extensive R&D, aligning with the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana’s (PMGSY) Green Energy initiative.
Upgraded the Kosi R&D lab, further strengthening our commitment to sustainable and long-lasting paving solutions.
Established a new plant in Durgapur, West Bengal, supporting infrastructure development in the Eastern and North-Eastern regions.
Played a key role in MoRTH and NHAI’s milestone achievement of constructing “100 Lane Kms in 100 Hours.”
Sh Nitin J Gadkari launched REJUBIT, an advanced rejuvenating agent co-developed by CSIR-CRRI and Ooms India, setting a new benchmark in sustainable road technology.
